WindGuru iPhone Application

Winner best in category for the 2009 Mobie Awards.

This is our first iPhone application. At PerceiveIT we have always be Mac fans, and the iPhone is the cumulation of their expertise in a mobile device. Plus - Objective C rocks!

As MD Richard is also an ageing surfer, when it came to developing for the iPhone we decided that the ability to check the surf in a "board" meeting was appropriate. Due for release in December 2008 you will now be able to get all your favourite spots on the phone.

We are using the data from WindGuru to show the wind, temperature, cloud cover, rain and wave status for the coming week for any of the 2000 global spots on the site Add your favourites, browse the world, or look for ones near by. All this for a couple of quid! More features coming soon too....
