Perceiveit are always developing new products, and have many ongoing porjects for individual clients and general consumption.

WindGuru Out There

This is our first iPhone application. At PerceiveIT we have always been Mac fans, and the iPhone is the cumulation of their expertise in a mobile device. Objective C rocks!

MD Richard is also an ageing surfer. So when it came to developing for the iPhone we decided that the ability to check the surf in a board meeting was appropriate. Due for release in December 2008 you will now be able to get your favourite spots on the phone with wind, weather and wave.

Got any more ideas? We have a couple, but if you have one let us know - I am sure we can come to an agreement.

PDFX

This is a large scale framework project, meeting a specific need of PerceiveIT.
There are lots of PDF generators out there - some from HTML, others are code based, and a couple are XML transformation based. We like the code ones best because they generate the best PDF and are the most flexible, but the amount of time required to write just one report is prohibitive.

PDFX solves this problem by using the same model as ASPX pages. Write the framework elements through an XML Schema which are dynamicaly compiled to an object graph that can be manipulated with code behind or data binding before rendering the final PDF output to a file or an output stream.

Fast, repeatable and flexible. Just the way we like our frameworks.

Therapy Area

Working with a medical publisher and societies, PerceiveIT are in the process of specification of a medical practicioners portal to hold books, forums, and author blogs.

IT pulishers are starting to provide these facilities, but the Medical World is catching up.
